Five steps to a pet-ready space:
1. Unfold the net fabric.
2. Stretch the two metal posts to their maximum length.
3. Insert these two poles into the tunnels on both sides of the net.
4. Fix the sticky hooks to where you want to install the safety net.
5. Hang the net fabric onto the four hooks.
FAQs
Our gate is very sturdy and can deter most household pets. In the case your dog is able to jump over it, you may need to retain him or her to not jump.
This safety net has four hooks on one side – two at the top and two at the bottom (hooks are included). To remove the net, you just need to unhook all hook corners.
In that case, we advise you to roll one of the sides of the net inwards to make the net width shorter.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the hooks that fasten to the banister are easily pulled off by both of my children and my partner, who do not bother to open it. I would suggest buying heavy duty hooks or command strips with hooks to fasten this to your walls or banister. I love this otherwise it is easy to install and sturdy enough to keep our dog off the stairs.

I have an elderly, deaf cat that gets into trouble, and I wanted to block her way into the 2nd floor. I measured my stairs and wanted to use it vertically, but the actual net turned out to be a bit shorter, than I thought. Now my cat actually can squeeze in, so it’s not really suitable for cats.

It seemed sturdy enough and everything needed included, even the hooks had holes in case you wanted to screw or nail them instead of sticking. However I had purchased to use on a porch and it didnt fit. Guess I needed to measure the porch first. I will add some wood and set it up anyways.

The gate actually kept our 70 lb lab out of the laundry room for a few days. Until she found out that she could bust through it if run fast enough. Might be great for small dogs, but cn’t stop the grown up lab.

The gate worked fine for puppies, but now our 20 pounds dogs have pulled this thing down a few times. The issue I really have is with the sticky hooks on the wall. The sticking is so strong, so the paint came off the wall when my dogs pulled the net down. Guess there could be something to prevent it.

This works great to keep our Chihuahua puppy in the laundry room. He stays away from the screen and hasn’t even tried to break through it yet. It is mobile, so it isn’t designed to compete with other units, but it has worked great for us so far and it is sturdy and strong enough for us.

I only need something for when the grandkids are here. I had to be a little creative since we have the banister on one side and I didn’t want the sticky hooks on the wall. I put the sticky hooks inside the closet and ran a heavy rubber band through the door. It works great. Easy to put up and take down. Kept the 2 toddlers off the stairs.

This gate is very well made! It took my husband about 10 minutes to assemble from start to finish. We put it in the entryway of our home to keep the dogs from coming into the livingroom.You hardly notice it is there. The dogs like it because they can still see us. It is very easy to open and close also. The retractable gate is nice because when you don’t want to use it it is out of your way without having to move it anywhere! I would highly recommend this product! We ordered it on Thursday and had it by Saturday!

Goes up easy! No tools and long time to assemble required!! No mess… Definitely a PLUS LOL and it does the job at a cheaper price than the expensive gates! In my opinion it is for smaller less aggressive dogs! I have two small Maltese mix, a 5 lb and an 10 lb and it kept them in the intended room but i will only use it when i’m home!!

So this gate works great on hard surfaces. The hooks are attached to the wall with a sticky side (easily and clean removal from wall) so they will not work on soft surfaces. But the easy on off hook attachment makes it easy for us and the kids to get passed without the puppy being able to move it. Also love that it’s easy to store. Simply roll it up and throw on the closet shelf when not needed instead of the bulky plastic ones.

This gate it a perfect fit for my doorway (longways). My door frame was too short to turn in around but that’s ok bc I have a big dog that would probably just jump over it. I like to sleep with my open and now I can do that and not worry about my big pup roaming the house at night 😊 I like how easy it was to set up and how easy it is to hook and unhook your get in and out of my room. I am definitely getting another for my stairs.

This review is for the magic gate for dogs. This is super easy to put up and secure it to any spot needed. It is also super easy move around to another space if needed. It seems to be pretty sturdy and strong once it is put up. My dogs are strange and afraid of things like this. They can easily jump over it if they wanted to. But it works for exactly what I need it for. They are much cheaper than the child gates and less bulky and heavy and some much more better overall. Overall I think it is a great value and I would definitely recommend buying this.

The heavier gates kept falling on my ankles and I worried about the gate falling on the pet all under 5lbs.

I was looking for a gate to put at the top of a staircase that is not a straight opening, but has an angled opening that a standard expansion gate would not work on. This gate fit perfect in that angle! It is lightweight gate and it is very easy to store when not in use – just take down completely and fold or roll up on side and attach it to the other side. You will not go wrong with the purchase of this gate.

After trying a few other gates, this one worked perfectly and seems much safer since its soft mesh.
We have several other gates at home. This is our first time trying mesh type of gate and we loved it. We got this one for our stairway but we may buy a few more and swap them out for the other metal and wood gates we have.
It was very easy to install and light weight as well. We placed this right in front of the stairway and it looks better and safer than the metal and wood swing gates we own for other areas. We have been using this for about a month now and so far it’s working great and I feel like it is much safer with the mesh. Highly recommended!

This is such a great compact device. I got it for my dog who has a tendency to run right out the door whenever I open it or leave it open just enough for her to open herself and run through. This comes with everything you need to set this up, it just takes a bit of patience and you’ll be able to use this in just a few minutes after opening. It also comes with another set of brackets so you can move the gate around or need to change it to separate your pets/babies from a different section of the house. I’m now able to set up a barrier that works over a much greater distance without having to deal with setting up baby gates that end up cracking or splintering over time or just won’t fit because of how they are designed. This gate is also easier to “take down” and readjust without having to find a space for it to be put away or getting lost or damaged when not in use.
